Biography 

Linda Marshall is an Irish painter and printmaker. Growing up in County Kildare, she developed a love of art and music (piano) from a very early age. In 2001, she graduated from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin with a joint honours degree in Fine Art and History of Art. While studying for her Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in the University of London in 2003, Linda majored in art education and in 2005 she attended the Life Painting course in Central Saint Martins College of Art in London. 

Linda has extensive experience in the field of education. As well as being a fully-qualified primary school teacher (Scoil Bhride, Athgarvan, Co. Kildare), she has taught art to both children and adults, working for the National Gallery of Ireland and various community groups. 

At present, Linda paints from her studio in Naas and prints at the Leinster Printmaking Studio in Clane. Linda’s work is held in the collection of the Office of Public Works in Dublin, Monaghan County Council and many private collections.
